Epoxy resin is created by transforming liquid polyether into infusible solids through a special curing process. In most cases, resins are the result of a chemical reaction between epichlorohydrin (ECH) and Bisphenol-A(BPA).
Epoxy resin have many different uses due to it knows as excellent adhesion, chemical and heat resistance, good to excellent mechanical properties and very good electrical insulating properties in application. The applications for epoxy based materials are extensive and include industrial and civil project, coatings, adhesives and composite materials such as those using carbon fiber and fiberglass reinforcements.
